Cold Hard Facts ...

It's like they take a supermodel, show an awkward photo of her when she was 8, show a picture of when she's pregnant, point out that she once had measles, and conclude that she's an ugly bytch.

Anyone know how many of those pro bowl players he played with were skill position players? I can see Marino having a bunch of pro bowl lineman or random defensive guys.

I can't comment on his early years since I wasn't a fan, or out the womb or able to even walk. But I can say about the mid to late years. There are some valid points but he can't be held accountable for losing. Yes the defense was top notch with the two star corners and taylor and Thomas leading the pack. It seemed like the offense and defense never clicked together. And the defense wasn't able to win every game by itself. This was evident in playoffs. Team always had decent records but got crushed in playoffs. Defense got exposed. Jaguar game, raider game, Denver game, etc. I don't think the running game was top notch. I remember lamar Smith but think he came after. Only decent receiver was mcduffie. Gadsen shines more under fiedler. Marino just made his teammates better because of his play and his throwing. He had a hell of an arm. The team just never was consistent come playoff time.
