Give him multiple top 10 defenses and we will see

If playing in NE, he certainly would.
No, it's not a guarantee.

Did you guys actually watch every Patriots playoff game? Or did you just look at the numbers?

For all of our good defenses... we still had individual playoff games here and there where they would be bad or okay at best, and Brady would have to be great or clutch to win.

They weren't shutting down every opponent and holding them to 3 points like that Rams super bowl.

Marino isn't doing a 28-3, Marino is coming back down from 14 points twice in the same game, Marino isn't coming back down 10 against Seattle, Marino isn't dropping 37 at Arrowhead.

Marino himself had a lot of playoff duds, even in games his defense played well, or where they give him a chance.

Marino had as many comeback wins as Elway.

And we all talked about how you beat the dolphins. You focus on Moreno and his game over. You focus on Brady the patriots can still beat you. That’s the difference between the teams they played on.

I wish the NFL didn’t have Marino’s 48 touchdown passes taken down when we posted them versus Bradys 49. Cats that never saw Marino said Bradys didn’t touch what he was doing.

I have no dog against Brady. Marino was just a better qb.

His 84’ highlights are still on YT

I think my favorite Marino play is here at the 14 minute mark. Marino was a slow runner but had great footwork and pocket awareness.

He just does a little move and launches it before the other Jet defender can get to him and it’s a TD

Marino has less than Elway in the playoffs, both game winning drives and comeback victories.

I have no dog against Marino. I'm just looking at games like 85 AFC title game where he has opportunities to get back in the game but was too aggressive and threw turned it over, or the 92 title game where he was ass.

He obviously wouldn't be ringless but he ain't getting 6 here in Foxborough. I don't see him getting a long with Belichick either

Marino and Elway are a few games apart in comeback drives.

Also, Marino gets dinged for long time playing in the most one dimensional offense in history. He literally was the sole cog. Absolutely no one else to worry about stopping other than him. Elway escaped that with TD.

Yeah I know about that. I'm not disputing Marino's greatness or lack of support. I'm just saying his flaws are enough that he wouldn't be the GOAT

He had a better arm than Brady, I can concede that. We all know.

His flaws are exacerbated as a result of that one dimensional offense. I don’t see how you can talk on his flaws being exposed minus it being a direct result of zero protection from that one dimensional offense.

The 1990 Dolphins uniforms are my favorite uniforms in NFL history. :wow:

Wish they would return to that look :feedme:

I liked the Jets 1990 uniforms as well.

62-7 :damn:

I didn’t like those Dolphin teams when Jimmy was there so I was kinda happy but it was sad to see Marino go out like that

That 90 yard TD run by Fred Taylor though?

:ohlawd:

Yeah, he got sent to the afterlife in his final game. Like, straight Kufi slapped and his scalp never recovered :dead:
