Is Poitier in here talking about smashing capitalism or getting rid of it? Because he used to troll me like these fukkboys in these other threads. So this would be a surprising turn of events :heh:

Yes, it's safe to say he has multiple personalities. I'm pretty sure he's an alias for someone who remain nameless.

People said capitalism was dead eight years ago, when the credit crunch was at its worst and China's "authoritarian capitalist" model was succeeding.

People said capitalism was dead in the nineties, as the European Union seemed to be successful with their brand of "welfare capitalism."

People said capitalism was dead in the eighties, when inflation couldn't be tamed in the first part of the decade.

People said capitalism was dead in the seventies, when the OPEC oil embargo almost broke the economy.

People said capitalism was dead in the sixties, as America entered a turbulent rights movement and Vietnam proved unwinnable.

People said capitalism was dead in the fifties, when China went red and Sputnik went into orbit

I wonder when people will say capitalism is dead next. :jbhmm:

sounds to me like people are starting to realize this capitalism thing is not sustainable :sas1:

infinite growth on a finite world is impossible... what we're currently doing ultimately isn't sustainable..

doesn't mean capitalism is gonna die.. but it's gonna have to change :manny:

Author is right about atleast a billion people dying before 2100 tho :sas2:
