Dreamcast had mad classic's

If it wasn't for piracy it could have lasted even longer, but its run changed the game and dropped gems in both the US and Japan. It was amazing that we got so many japanese games in the states at the time of the dream cast.

9/9/99 I'll never forget that date:wow:

i never did try to play online because it was through shytty 56k modem and connecting to sega online was a bytch then.

online broadband for ps2 playing madden was :banderas:

I never had a problem with it but Seganet was my ISP at the time there was no lag. Once Sega got out of the hardware business they sold their servers to EarthLink. I had that until I got DSL by Verizon in my area. I use that to play my Xbox Live and at times sometimes that is more laggy then playing dreamcast online back in the day on 56k.

Dreamcast.:mjcry:

I remember having NBA 2K, 2K1, and 2K2 along with NFL 2K. Shame that the PS2 had to chokeslam the Dreamcast into a coffin.

Only reason I bought OG XBOX was because of Shenmue II. If they ever make part III that's will be my deciding factor of which system I will buy. Since I don't have XBOX ONE or PS4 yet.

Top three console, was years ahead of it's time. Pretty much held me down all throughout high school. :mjcry:

Power Stone 1 and 2 :wow:
Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 :wow:
Soul Caliber :wow:
Crazy Taxi :wow:
Skies of Arcadia :wow:
Marvel vs. Capcom :wow:
Resident Evil: Code Veronica :wow:
All the 2k Games :wow:
Shenmue :wow:

I'm still salty to this day that there hasn't been a Power Stone 3. Probably the first truly great 4-player fighting game...it would be PERFECT for online. :smh:

I still have my console from launch day 9/9/99. I have it hooked up via 1080p & the graphics look insane. If the DC had a proper lifespan the graphics would've been on par if not better than the PS2. I know we would've eventually got a DVD add on to expand the capabilities. This pic is from E3 2000
