What people fail to realize is that if you solely play franchise, after a certain point... it's all CPU generated players anyways.
Being able to play in a new stadium ( which only happens every 5-7 years anyways), and new uniforms.... is NOT enough of a selling point to make a purchase.

2k myplayer is better then madden team up.

Kids and young adults who are primary consumer of sports games aren’t playing 5 on 5 game modes if it ain’t my team. And my team in 2k is way less popular than myplayer.

NFL Fanbase is much younger than nba fanbase. Nba myplayer is what gamers want now, the main consumer doesn’t care about simulation football or basketball

2K ruined myplayer anyways... the way it became so terribly scripted and funneled you into purchasing VC just to make it a playable game isn't worth it anymore.
needing online access just to play Myplayer was probably the dealbreaker for me.

@Ineedmoney504 such a lazy as talking point. I'm just fine playing all-madden, but I still know the gameplay isn't good, (namely with player movement, animations, AI) and there are objectively less features than from the ps2 era.
