It’s always interesting to hear folks opinions on the Sprint/T-Mo merger depending what side they came from.

Sprint folks feel T-Mo tanked things and T-Mo users feel everything was all good till the Sprint customers came on the network.

I got AT&T so I feel for y’all but cant relate :wow:
I had T-mobile and it seems the same. T-Mobile is fine until you have and get something done, and it's 5 calls to India until you finally speak to a chick that knows what she's doing.

I had Sprint for awhile. I signed up for Sprint under one of those Sero plans(employee discount and perks) when you could just Google an employees email address and they'll give you one :dead: . This was awhile back but I left for AT&T for like 5 years.

I got back with Sprint and their coverage was good in my area. I did used to get heated whenever i had to call the customer service:pacspit:

When they merged with T Mobile I was going to leave but the Sprint people offered me 2 new phones for basically free. I was going to buy the phones and go to mint or someone similar but staying with T Mobile was cheaper. I haven't had any problems yet.

I had Sprint for years. A legacy account and they would waive all types of fees and costs. When they merged with TMobile it became the worst service ever. When I would call about issues they wouldn’t know my account.. when I tried to upgrade it was always a reason they couldn’t. It was always something.. they kept blaming my account age.. I went to AT&T. I miss Sprint because they would do whatever I asked, but the service was trash..

I was in a similar situation. Bad a legacy account from thr early 2000s and when they merged the service quality immediately dropped where I couldn't even get calls in my bedroom.

Truly pathetic....went to Verizon

Yep. They would always tell me I couldn’t upgrade because I had to port over. They said the only way for me to port over was to give up my number. I’ve had the same number almost as long as I had a phone. There was no way o was giving my number up.

Worked for Nextel and into the Spring mergers.. mismanaged company with shyt execution and even shyttier vision.. when you’re billing the Samsung instinct as a iPhone killer, you lost.. plus crazy amount of fraud going on.. the palm pre was kinda sick for its time though

Had sprint for years in Duval and worked okay and it was cheap so I didn't mind until I moved to phoenix and had no signal for most of the time. I couldn't be without a signal most of the times and dumped sprint and went to Verizon. Seemed like they didn't care about building more towers outside of the south and I thought it would be better when they merged with T mobile but from the replies I guess not still :russ:

They bought Nextel which wasn’t compatible with their network, and after demand for push to talk had diminished.

They also invested in WiMAX over LTE. Bad decision after bad decision
