not important enough to visit :francis:

Probably just too far away. Even if there is technology that can move nearly at the speed of light, we could still be a wildly long way away from everything else with space travel.

It's pretty crazy that we haven't even detected any radio waves from anywhere......maybe that's a sign that intelligent civilizations don't last long enough to overlap.

The Truth
This an old pic but op is right about next week…

Apparently, the pics nasa will drop are supposed to be life changing/mind blowing to what people think about the universe… already putting some scientists in tears

I’ll have to see it to believe

I actually have a theory that if we aren’t the only beings in those universe, that the other beings on other planets are either basically copies of earth with slight derivatives

Like: maybe a planet who’s dinosaurs never died

Or ones with Neanderthals at the top

Ones with purely only black people, or white people

Planets where the species we know today, evolve totally differently there

Or species that are basically unlike what we’ve ever seen but with the same organic make up of the species found here. Etc and all that

Do you mean a wormhole? Because from what I know ain't no coming back from a black hole, unless something's changed I'm not aware of.
Nah black holes. Nobody can see what is inside because of the amount of mass they have. Think of it this way: if you put something very heavy in the center of a trampoline, whatever is on the outside starts getting pulled into the center where the object is.

Black holes are basically that object. The closer you get the further you get pulled in, however time passes differently around black holes because they distort time itself because of gravity. Its called gravitational time dilation. Time passes slower when you're near an object with more mass. If you got in, but then got out again, you would be the same but everything around you will have aged. Because time passed differently for you.

Because we don't really know how massive a black hole could be(at least not definitively) i suspect that if one were to somehow put something in that could survive the pressure in a black hole, the other side would just be...more space. It would be galaxies, stars, planets. Basically just like what we already see in our solar system and galaxy.
