That is rhe one where they transistion from rapnrock debut. Which i hated.

Atf, has the foundational bones. That would eventually become their artistic sweetspot. They would find on flies on white pony. Then the rest is white boi rock history.


I can understand the dislike.

Stain'd around that time was the better band that year. Where at the time. It looked like the only new group left to like was stained.

Then stained delved to much into being a one trick pony and fell all the way the fukk off. That i never tried after the commercialized second album.


While deftones emerged over time.

consistently, as the clear best of those new bands of that era.
that needed more seasoning.
While sticking to what made them dope.
Besides tool[maynard stuff included] and astra.

I don't venture into rock at all any more.


Mentally Don't need it anymore.
Not dealing in grief, law suits etc compounded anymore. My daughter immediately took all that shyt away when she was born. I don't even look back.

Once you have a child. It ain't about you no more.
That you have to move forward.

When i decided to listen to my old rock dl from early sohh era.
Where we had like every group available for dl back then in bulk.
shyt sat on a hard drive since like 2001 or so.
This and black uhuru honestly saved a nikka.
No bullshyt.
