The report observed that Sanders, the Vermont senator, had introduced a “Medicare for All” bill during every congressional session, typically by himself. But when he unveiled his latest version of the legislation in 2017, Sanders “had 14 Democratic senators with him, including some thought to be presidential contenders in 2020.” Even more moderate members, including Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., and Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Col., had introduced a public option bill that would provide patients with the ability to purchase a government-sponsored insurance plan that would ensure access with Medicare providers, paying Medicare reimbursement rates.

Which is why Bernie would be forgotten the moment there’s a Democrat senate to pass bills.

People are amping his theatrical bills because they won’t pass.

Bernie proposes the same shyt that republicans propose to signal to their bases they’re doing something of value. Look at the far right wing bill to fire Robert Mueller. Obviously that was just for show.

That’s why so many 2020 hopefuls signed his bill. It won’t pass.

A serious version of this bill won’t be introduced, contributed to, or be remotely as nuanced and complex as anything that Sanders is capable of producing.

It should be known by now that sanders doesn’t know how to achieve policy gains incrementally required in a duopoly government.

There's that comical gaffe when John Edwards was talking about care for the poor during a debate and they showed Hillary Clinton laughing it up with a glass of champagne. Not evidence of anything, but clearly doesn't give 2 fukks about the optics.

Bernie does not deserve Democrat votes. Enough is enough.

He is unqualified and would not be productive.

He is a good “whip” in the Senate.

Progressive agendas are better in the hands of skillful and adept politicians. Bernie is neither. He doesn’t have the tools to go beyond rhetoric.
