Yea owner on some BS. Cashier said it was my fault for taking it and he will pay the $20. The owner said no and kept pressing him to get George back in the store. And the police tested the bill and it was real.

I read somewhere a while ago. It wasn't. The owner apologized and he wasn't the one who called the police. It doesn't really matter now tho. Let's see if they bring it up in court.

Why? If cashiers take fake bills, their wages are docked. There’s an incentive (and fear factor) in place to ensure cashiers always double check this. He did his job. The problem is the cop didn’t do HIS job, and instead killed a man.
