Idk people thought the same way after Rodney King, but we saw how that worked out. Just naming Trayvon and Tamir and people are still relatively content.
I honestly don’t feel like there’s anything they can do apart from taking away our basic necessities that will fundamentally change this country.
Unless there are some straight racists or cop-worshipers on the jury then that strategy should have no chance. You already have a ton of witnesses who were right there and said Chauvin's behavior was awful and it looked like he was killing Floyd, you have Floyd's own words that he couldn't breath. No one can watch that video and think Chauvin didn't play a part in his death.
In the defense's BEST case scenario, it's like if a lifeguard saw someone having an epileptic seizure in the pool so they dove in...and then held them under water. Then tried to argue, "I didn't kill him by holding him under cause he would have drowned from the seizure anyway!"
If that’s the case what about the times he was fried .. n didn’t encounter the police n lived ??

yo they are doing an excellent job using the chief, and having him testify about the policies of the MPD, to completely tear apart whatever was left of any defense Chauvin can possibly make as far as the force used being necessary. these policies are shockingly clear about the restraint they were supposed to show when George Floyd started freaking out.
next up this week will be the medical witnesses, and disproving the theory that the drugs killed him, and were going to with or without Chauvin's help.
the only way Chauvin can walk is if those cacs on the Jury absolutely refuse to convict this cop no matter what. in that case...let it burn baby
