This medical examiner is ass giving them that out. Anybody’s heart won’t be able to take 9 fukkin minutes of hypoxia, whether they got no coronary artery disease or a fukkin 99% left main disease. fukk him.
piece of shyt medical examiner is a bad look, but the focus shouldn't be on whether he died more easily than the average person, because nothing happened suddenly here.
the point is that Chauvin's actions were without any regard for the fact that he was dying, and continued long after he stopped resisting and even lost consciousness, and went far beyond anything necessary in the moment.
if the prosecution can't shift the focus back to that, then, but it's not an 'out. if the jury cacs are gonna pull a fast one, they're gonna have to do it with no justification whatsoever

.i decided to watch the whole exchange with medical examiner Baker based on the last few posts in this thread freaking out. and from what i saw, there's absolutely no reason to worry. if the jury decided not to convict because of whatever the medical examiner said or didnt say, they were already not going to convict.
the medical examiner is a matter of fact dude and at end of all that questioning, the fact remained that he said the cause of death was due to the police interaction. i mean, the defense tried to ask all types of ridiculous questions, but if you're the jury and u have any kinda sense about u, you can tell the defense is basically just grasping at this point.
you guys were freaking out for no reason. there's too many witnesses that already dug a deep whole against the defense. one question, asked in a deliberately confusing way, isnt going to convince an objective person that ooooooh duh thats why he died. like come on. if you intended NOT to convict from the outset, you'll find any reason to justify it.

haven't been paying attention to this but maybe I'm sounding like a dictator but placing this in the hands of a jury just seems irresponsible when the medical examiners words should really be the end all be all in cases like this

A Prosecutor has to convince 12 people that someone is guilty. A Defense Attorney only has to convince one person he is innocent. I fear for what the repercussions will be if the latter happens. Another summer of fighting, riots, and unwarranted death all across the country.
