here in philly:
Pennsylvania National Guard activated as Philadelphia prepares for aftermath of Chauvin trial

they boarded everything up before the elections as well, just in case. but that turned out to be a big party.

I think cities are just nervous af after last summer, and ready to err on the side of caution
