Great question Bro..it would be similar to the Amber Guyger case but up to the state.., she's trying to get her manslaughter charge changed to criminal negligent..and get out in 2 years.. the difference here is that you had officer's testifying against their own saying what he did is excessive... they are pretty much hanging him out on his own and not a police issue...

who told you manslaughter was 10 years? that's the max. with no criminal history, he'd be facing way less than that.

and in Minnesota, you do about 2/3 of the sentence.

that said, the state did file a motion to seek an aggravated sentence. but the judge is going to have to decide on the aggravating factors
