How is that even comparable to this? One is a sports related and the other is about the value of black life in this country. So in your mind a random NBA team winning a title is the equivalent of a black man/woman getting justice for death?:gucci: Black folks turnt up when Guyger was found guilty, then we went back to being pissed when we heard her sentencing. What's wrong with having control and waiting for everything to play out?
The comparison was people who constantly used to get disappointed and finally getting a victory. Yes , I know a life and sports are not the same. So no I don't think it's the same in my mind.

And what's wrong with celebrating he found guilty on all counts. That's all I'm saying. If people wanna be happy about that let them. Don't shame them. I mean what if some of these people knew him and just knew he would be found not guilty. Let them cook. If it comes back that he gets light sentence then sure react. But for now if they wanna rejoice don't criticize them is all om saying.

remember the days when black folk weren't "aware of the issues"

now that we are, and aware of how this shyt plays out, we STILL get talked down to.
