Slight bit of elated shock when I heard the verdict. In my mind I was thinking 60% manslaughter, 30% 3rd-degree murder, maybe 10% 2nd-degree murder....the fact they went all the way is amazing.

The biggest thing to me isn't the verdict. The biggest part is that cops testified against their own. If THAT is a lasting change that could be huge. The blue wall of silence had its first crack.
