The accuser said she didn’t remember sending Rose text messages leading up to the alleged assault around 3 a.m. on Aug. 27, 2013, because she was “blacked out.”

But the defense also scored points, with Rose’s attorney Mark Baute getting the accuser to admit that her last drink on the night of the 26th was around 11 p.m. The admission makes it hard to believe she was too intoxicated to consent to sex with Rose and two of his friends four hours later.

“You were able to send and receive over 20 texts with Ryan Allen and Derrick Rose … the entire time you were blacked out, right,” Baute asked, referring to Rose’s friend.

Baute said the accuser sent the messages with perfect punctuation and use of slang words despite her claim that she was wasted from a night of drinking.

The accuser also conceded she was “upset” that Rose had broken up with her by text in July 2013.

Baute also showed a text from the accuser to Rose on Aug. 27 asking him to reimburse her friend Jessica Kendra Groff, a massage therapist who had partied with her at the basketball player’s Beverly Hills home the night before.

But Kendra testified last week that she never asked to be reimbursed for cab fare.

After the accuser finished testifying, the defense played a video deposition by her former co-worker Keyana LaVergne.

LaVergne said the accuser leaked her Los Angeles federal lawsuit to TMZ in 2015. She also said, “Not one time did I hear rape come out of her mouth.”
