Do I even have to give an explanation on how great this group was? I remember my grandfather every sat. morning playing religiously "living just a little, laughing just a little" sitting in his rocking chair trying his best to out sang Philippe Wynne's lead on that record. From my grandmother playing Sadie every sunday morning while she cooks breakfast. Then my dad introducing me to Mervin Steals who co-wrote along with his brother "could it be im falling in love" who happened to live in East Orange on North Munn Ave, going to his studio to try to put something down when I wasn't ready. I love the Spinners music. Straight timeless music.
