So if he wasn't doing the wild sh*t he was doing, he wouldn't be locked up. Cassie is just the top of the iceberg. They have six more weeks of mad people speaking about what they saw dude and say. So blaming Cassie for any of this ain't the move. The case isn't about her being abused. It's about dude breaking federal laws. That's clear as day with what he's been charged with. Just because other sh*t is going on in the country, that doesn't mean trash people stop getting locked up for committing crimes. Come on now.

People gotta chill with focusing on the victims and random irrelevant sh*t, when this dude literally ruined the lives of damn near everyone he's met. Both personally and in the music business. Whatever happens to him with this case and elsewhere, is on him. He did it to himself.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I was blaming Cassie. It's just that all of these things seem out of place. Puff is on video attacking Cassie, but nobody took any legal action about her treatment. All of the other incidents seem like crimes too, but still no charges for the actual acts. I just had the impression that the case was to address Cassie being trafficked and that she was the star witness. Kid Cudi talked about his car being torched but no charges. I think Puff had something to do with it but what is the point of bringing Kid Cudi into court to testify about his suspicions?

Puff was/is trash and I don't think anyone deserves blame except him I just don't have clarity about what Cassie's role was. Kid Cudi seemed to have a healthy type of relationship with Cassie and she still chose to go back to Puff. She seemed to have a healthy relationship with Ryan Leslie and she chose Puff. She was grown and should make whatever choices made her happy. Puff was a violent person and an abuser. DV is terrible and Cassie should have been treated better. Looking back on this when she is currently married and pregnant doesn't seem like it is helpful. I wish he got charged for all of the incidents at the time, but sex trafficking seems like a reach. Maybe there are other witnesses or traffic victims that will help the case. The trial isn't televised. Is there a website or YouTube page that has the transcripts?

It’s tricky. Cause with Diddy. All the sex shyt he was doing was personal and he didn’t hire people to SPECIFICALLY bring in escorts etc etc. he just utilized his resources from people who had other job titles. It’s not tricky at all. And I don’t say this dismissively - but every time an actual lawyer gets on here and tells you guys something you guys argue back with what you think the law is and or how it should be and not how it actually works. Society would benefit as a whole from people deferring when it’s not their bag. For example, I’m not a criminal attorney specifically (other areas instead) but I’ve practiced long enough and worked with and know enough of them to where I can tell you just aren’t understanding what the standard of proof is. Your title is irrelevant.

Prostitution is illegal. Hiring sex workers is illegal. Effectively turning Cassie into a sex worker through threats of violence and kidnapping and moving her throughout the country for those ends may very well be enough. The whole case is essentially arguing that Diddy was moving people throughout the country to engage in sex worker which is illegal and that he used his money, power and influence to force compliance. All of the weird shyt he did during that isn’t really relevant and is just to make the jury think this dude is a weirdo capable of anything who needs to be locked up. It’s basically permissible character testimony. There’s nothing that says your official title needs to be “sex acquirer” to be engaging in an unlawful enterprise. You really think mob members officially job titles with made man number 6?

This is a long case so I’m not picking a side at this point but the feds have a 95 percent conviction rate for a reason. These aren’t those idiots from the Young Thug trial. Diddy’s lawyers will have to be really good.

If they had actual evidence for that they would pursue it.

they don’t have actual evidence so they are reporting rumors and hearsay to influence the jury.

Racketeering is racketeering. If there was gun, drug, arson, attempted murder charges they could charge him with, they would have done so.

All of that stuff is brung up to attack his character and influence the jury, but if they felt they could actually prove it he would be charged with it.

Racketeering - I think the attempt to bribe the hotel employee would help with that. Then the sex trafficking would help with this too. Then throw in supplying drugs. I could be wrong though
