It's not a hot take, it's the conclusion you come to when you actually follow the case and trial. Everything the prosecution has boils down to Cassie's testimony, that's it. They have yet to bring up anything in relation to sex trafficking. Where's the tubs of baby oil with GHB in it btw?

To be charged with racketeering/RICO you just need to commit 2 out of 35 offenses.
This Rico/Racketeering may seem weird because it is. Puff is a weirdo. In most normal ricos/racketeering people are doing illegal shyt to get money and everyone is involved to get money. In this, they wasnt doing all this illegal shyt for money. Diddy had hundreds of millions legally. Diddy did all this just for his sexual pleasure and he was bored. All the legal bodyguards, assistants, money was used for this(FOs/Cassie abuse). If Diddy never beat, threatened, extorted anyone, they wouldnt be able to do the RICO shyt. Because w/o all that, you just have a rich nikka flying nikkas out to fukk his girlfrienc and they wouldnt waste resources on that.

Cassie would probably be codefendant with Diddy if Diddy wasnt threatening and beating the shyt out of her. But he did beat her and the AUSA knows how horrible it would look to charge what a large majority of normal people would view as a victim. Especially with normal people understanding how abuse works. The Escorts could probably be charged, but then you wouldnt be able to use them as witnesses for Puff. One of the assistants got immunity.

What makes the FOs sex trafficking/how the AUSA is framing it is the use of force and coercion for the FOs.
