What he's being charged with isn't the crimes he's actually guilty of. There are plenty of wife beaters out on bail with protective orders in place, doing small bids etc. This shyt isn't new, but he's getting hit with federal charges for it. Cassie was the star witness. Victim #2 is unknown, so probably won't have much impact on the jury unless it's Beyonce or some other celeb. and #3 went missing. People were walking out of the court house today cause they know this is BS. And they wanna drag this shyt 8 weeks. Any jury would be like fukk this, I don't care anymore, not guilty.

I'm not condoning any of it, and I'm not going to pretend I understand the U.S. justice system, process and charges, but this is a very old law correct, 1920's? Surely a decent legal defence can argue that the law is out of date, with at least some success? e.g. Puff wasn't aware of the technicalities etc.?
