Diddy defense turn today, the lawyers will see what their $10 million legal fees are worth.

Can puff change the narrative to a toxic relationship and money hungry ploy.

This is such a weird case from a moral standpoint.

First off. Puff is a nasty nikka. He gets no defense from me. Dude is in that courtroom off of his own nasty abusive behavior.

But thinking about issues like, consent, coercion, self accountability, etc. shyts kinda messy.

Like i’m sure she felt “trapped” but it wasn’t cause she afraid of physical violence. She was afraid to lose the money and lifestyle she was enjoying. So in that sense she chose to endure the abuse for her own benefit. Therefore she bears some accountability for her roll in this story.

Also when it comes to consent. It’s crazy to me that a person can consent to rape play, water sports, etc. Then retroactively pick and chose moments when that shyt wasn’t cool.

Again, no defense of puff, but if a person is down for the shyts, how do you know when they’re not down for it?

With all that said. Dude probably going to jail, and this girl got 20 mill for her troubles.

So who really took advantage of who???:patrice:

Its so epic when dudes without one single clue about what goes on in Cassie's head are saying stuff like "she chose to stay because the lifestyle blabla ...".

Have people never heard of abusive relationships before? Hate to break it to you...
People walk away from abusive relationships all the time. Cassie walked away from this one at some point.

If your abusive relationship comes with millions of dollars, fame, and a lifestyle very few will ever enjoy. Then you bear some responsibility for sticking around.

Comparing cassie to some poor lady who’s stuck cause the dude keep pulling a gun on her is a disservice to the poor lady.

Cats in here saying, “yeah, he was beating the shyt out of her, threatening to leak compromising pictures and videos, blowing up people’s cars, threatening her friends and family, making her fukk escorts, keeping her drugged up, and had the money and resources to make her life hell and all of this is verifiable by texts entered as evidence and witness testimony, but I think she stayed because of private jets”

But what are you saying here?

Her consequence for leaving would be losing her money her career and her lifestyle right?

We all have to make choices to protect ourselves and our dignity at times.

Like if you have a job that you know is tearing you down physically and mentally but that paycheck is too sweet to give it up.

You can talk about how terrible a place it is to work. And how they take advantage of you. And force you to do difficult and uncomfortable things. But ultimately it’s your responsibility whether you stay or not.

Cassie was def addicted to the fame and rich lifestyle that Diddy provided. Doubt she was eager to go back to being a broke one hit wonder

I think she was just naive. At the end of the day, if she had really thought this shyt through she would have realized that he was clearly bluffing because releasing the tapes would have opened up a can of worms for himself too.

She was just too young and dumb to realize it.
