The cross examination had Cassie looking crazy IMO. It seems she left Puff not because she was tired of abuse or the freak offs but strictly because he wouldn't make her the number one woman in his life. She went back to him after he "raped" her. She was facetiming with the husband right after fukking Puff. She told Puff she was leaving and he let her go without any push back. The enthusiasm she showed for the freak offs ad her suggesting them at times. Her admitting to being hooked on drugs. It's hard to be sympathetic to her after all those admissions and she seemed just as compliant in securing the drugs and prostitutes as Puff was if not moreso since I don't recall any actual proof that Puff ordered her to get any of it, more her asking him who she can contact to get all of it.
Obviously there is a lot more testimony to come but so far Cassie's testimony wouldn't have done much for me towards a conviction if I'm on that jury.
Jury was literally wincing when they showed them the evidence bag that the FBI chick had of dude's drugs from the night before he was supposed to turn himself in, and the pics of the guns he used to threaten people and coerce them into doing sh*t for him. They said the jurors had a hard time looking at the photos of how he left Cassie bloody and bruised and the shots from the parties.
They have the psychologist that worked on the Kelly, Weistein and Epstein trial coming in to speak. Abused women, just like prostitutes, will say
anything to stay in good graces with their abusers or pimps. That's common knowledge. So they're not gonna look at Cassie like she was so "excited" to do any of this sh*t. They said the jurors were looking at her and some of them looked like they wanted to cry. They sympathize with her. Her being hooked on drugs he was supplying her with, and having her set up escorts and flying them in, that's all on
him. Which is why
he's charged with the RICO.
The video established that when she tried to leave, she was going to be beat down for it. His lawyers admitted that there were times that she left and he had staff members bring her back to him. He had dudes pick her up, put her on a plane, and flown directly to do freaky sh*t. That's where the trafficking comes in. So Cassie's testimony did a lot of damage, but we still have another 7 weeks of this sh*t to see other people come in with what they saw dude do too.
I don’t think it looks good, at all, when your legal defense from your lawyer is "He's a horrible and abusive dude, but not at a federal level". LOL!! He's not being charged with being "abusive" or "kinky".
