No, the defense tried to make it seem like the prosecutors sped up the vid or something like that. The witness is explaining how the vid is kinda sped up in spots mostly due to the way cameras work with motion detection and stuff. Main take away is him saying the video is not manipulated. Him doing this also tells the jury he knows what he is talking about when breaking down other vids in the evidence.

Yes the video was edited and sped up. The "expert" is playing word games and semantics. The security guard used his cell phone to take video of the actual video. The cell phone video is the one cnn had and the one the court is using (Sidenote the guard clearly sold it cnn but when diddy tried to buy it is a "bribe"). The actual video was destroyed. That's why defense tried to get it thrown out at the start of the trial.

The fact that they keep focusing on the video in general will hurt the prosecution. Jury is probably tired of seeing it and that this is only evidence they have to keep discussing and focusing on after 3 weeks is telling. They are driving home the point for the defense that this was misdemeanor domestic violence and not a rico or trafficking.
