I like Purdy, but with these skill players (which on overall talent is up there with one of the GOAT collection ever) his overall playoffs looking kinda funny. So lotta pressure next year and thats with Kittle/Deebo needing to stay relatively healthy.
Then in the playoffs he faced shytty defenses that choked. He should have lost to Green Bay and again to detroit. He played an actual defense for the first time since the ravens game and what do you know they score 19 points in regulation.

Purdy played a fine game, but he's not a top-5 talent on this Niners team, he's not the reason they won games this year, and he's not an MVP-level quarterback.

I agree and understand that game manager =/= trash. However, I am not sure what we are getting from that overtime. We saw 2 game changers have similar or even greater issues against that KC D. Purdy did enough to win and if Jordan with a competent squad wasn't on the other side, he would have. Brock is a good starting QB but call it what it is. He's in that Goff/Tua tier of good QBs that are elevated by throwing to great talent.
He has some mobility unlike those guys but his main issue is he has a below average arm for a top end QB. If you get him off his spot and force him to make a play down the field his accuracy tanks cause he doesn't have the arm strength to make throws like that regularly. He missed multiple TDs today cause of it
