When you say Lebron is better than Kobe what do you exactly mean? is he better than Kobe because of Kobe old basketball age and Lebron is more athletic than him at this stage? or was he always better than Kobe overall? if you answer the second question as a yes, your intelligence and common sense is HIGHLY questionable.

See there you go, getting all sensitive.

Yes. I mean All Time. LeBron James is the 2nd best basketball player I've ever witnessed, after Jordan.

1. Jordan
2. Bron
3. Hakeem
4. Shaq
5. Kobe
(something like that)

That's out of players I personally witnessed. I didn't catch Magic until the tail end of his career and then he abruptly retired so I'm not including him. This is basically 1990-91 and beyond.

But again, LeBron James is higher on my ALL TIME LIST than Kobe Bryant. And it's not even a hard decision for me.

Kobe is letting thee young guns do all the work in these Olympics until it (REALLY) matters, and then he takes over. fukk he look like trying to do everything in an exhibition game at that age. Kobe is going to go insane this upcoming season and his last season that is when he is going to put his body on the line not in an exhibition game. prepare to see Kobe average 30.0 points a game this upcoming season now that he got Nash.

Kobe could be in a wheelchair going up against Lebron and his mental toughness and confidence will destroy Lebron. If hes better in YOUR book that's okay, but to people who know about the game and not just be blinded by Lebron's ability to jump through the roof can clearly see Kobe is second on YOUR list. I will give Lebron MASSIVE respect on his game, but until he learns a to hit jumpshots,3 pointer's and can develop a post game then he can be on YOUR list. When he reaches that age where his athleticism is beginning to decline i hope he remains on YOUR list, because them bricks gone have you have a change of mind.

This all sounds good. But then 2012 happened.

It's funny because LeBron's improved post game is definitely better than Kobe's. I mean, it's really not fair because he's bigger, but you're the one who brought it up.

LeBron and Kobe from beyond the arc are nearly identical for their careers. Bron averages 1.3 makes on 4.0 attempts and Bean averages 1.3 makes on 3.9 attempts. So while that argument sounds good, it's really inaccurate.

No here's some real differences between their games. LeBron is a better defender. Not that Kobe is a slouch on D, but again, there's the size factor. Bron is just bigger and thus more versatile. He can bang with the big boys, Bean can't. :yeshrug:

Then you have rebounding. Again, Bron is simply too big for Kobe.

Passing? Bron is one of the best passers I've ever seen.

The thing is, Kobe is supposed to be the "scorer" out of the 2. And he's obviously a great scorer. But for as great a scorer he is, Bron is right there with him every year, in addition to the assists and the rebounds and the guarding 5 positions.

So what advantages does Bean have over Bron? Really. I know there's the clutch myth but that's just a myth. LeBron has better 4th quarter numbers than Kobe. Mental toughness? I think LeBron squashed all that nonsense with his latest run.

In conclusion... Kobe is great, Bron is greater. :yeshrug:

Ironically, that's exactly how these olympics have played out so far. Kevin Durant taking part in the heavy lifting while Kobe isn't even carrying his own shyt.

The Olympics started already? I could've sworn they've only played exhibition games.

Duncan is probably 6th on that list. Originally I had him 5th and Bean 6th but I didn't want the Kobe stans getting too upset.

What it boils down to is pretty much the same argument against Kobe: versatility.

LeBron does big man things that Kobe simply can't do and he does guard things that Duncan simply can't do.

To those individuals on The Coli who try to grab stats from the excuse bag to try to persuade you that their player is better than yours is complete incompetent. Stats don't win championships, stats doesn't prove who and who is better, it's your determination and dedication and serious for the game and belief that wins you championships. And stats did not win Lebron that ring it was his determination and belief in himself that got it it done which he lacked last year. When Kobe/Lakers won in 2010 against the Celtics i remember him having a poor shooting game BUT he contributed with 15 IMPORTANT rebounds. The thing that i am trying to say is HE NEVER GAVE UP,which lebron has many of times in his career and THAT does'nt show on the stat sheet. In conclusion when you see Kobe play he plays like a MONSTER on the court and will do anything to win the game. When you see Lebron play he plays like a ghost, pop up just to scare you but when you bring out the cross he disappears. Now you tell me if that shows up on the stat sheet. Lebron plays for stats while Kobe plays to win the game. When its all said and done Lebron will be on the top of the list when discussing about stats, but when discussing about the greatest players you will hear Mj,Kobe and majic. And as an 18 year old you should'nt be discussing about who's the greatest in the NBA/history. Tell your drunk mother stop mixing alcohol with the breast milk and feeding you young boy cause your recent replies prove that your drunk and incoherent.

:dead:

Kobe - 5 rings
LeBron - 1 ring

that's how greatness is measured...there's a reason these players are SO eager to win rings

What a horrible argument. So Chris Bosh is better than Karl Malone and Charles Barkley?

No wonder no one takes you seriously.

Well, that and of course this...

What happens in a few years when bron has more finals mvp's than kobe? By Kobe stans logic, that should be even more important than rings, but you won't ever hear that from them. And I fukk w. kobe but this shyt is just ridiculous. The Lebron lacking the clutch gene was the only thing yall had left, now that he shyt on yall the hate is just pathetic. sensitive thugs yall all need hugs.
