At the beginning of mean streets
Mixed curly hair is always push at the forefront as natural black hair. Its sick.

Men on the coli always lust after chicks with 3C curls.

Exactly.

And I will never make ridiculous statements like my hair is as kinky as women with 4c hair being that I have 3c hair. Look at the hair products targeted towards "natural hair", 3c curls are always pushed in the forefront. :yeshrug:

True.
I should've been more clear. I was speaking about representation. Most of the models that are pushed to the forefront are biracial or mixed women. But your right black hair is not just 4c either it works both ways.

The natual hair movement really has not changed the mindset on hair.

I think it has a little. From what I've seen I use to think many black people had my type of hair (4c) hair but in fact I met a ton of black peple with some type of curly textured hair.

So the perception that all black hair is "nappy" has change but that leaves us nappy people out in the cold.

I've had black hairstylist tell me I shouldn't go natural cause my hair is too thick.
