I'm Hard Like D-Block Readin The Book Of Enoch...
this is glory dayze esque Dip Set,if you went back in time and asked me i'd either scoff or giggle but i miss Juelz's non sequitur goofy spittin arse..pawwwse

that God Willin mixtape didn't have the greatest beat selection but you can tell Juelz grew as an emcee..too bad he doesn't give a shyt anymore:manny:

actually,mi memory has just been jogged,i knew Juelz grew as an emcee when he absolutely smoked that Carter 3 collabo..

it'll never happen and i know i'll catch some flack(story of my real 3-D life anyways) so interweb beef/criticism is puppy chow chow to moi but Juelz would sound doper doing a mini EP/EP/LP with Daniel Dumille then WSG or Conway would..and that's saying a great deal, cause those cats(especially Conway) would sound great with just around anyone right now..

So let me ask u this. How would u make Dip Set relevant to the new generation of the streets?
they honestly shouldnt even be aiming to cater to the "new generation", thats what theyve been trying to do in every reunion since 2010 and its failed each time, ironically the tracks that they put out which got the best reception were the ones they stayed true to their original sound in (dipshyts, and now this)... thats literally all the people want from them is the sped up soul samples or the rock samples from just blaze or heatmakerz

cater to your core fanbase that never left you and accepting the fact that the new generation is not bumping 40+ year old rappers faithfully no matter how hard u try or who u collab with is the best direction for dipset to go going forward

What’s the incentive tho? Dip Set are legends. When they drop it should be an event. They shouldn’t be doing the same things they did15 years ago. I’m sure THEY don’t want to do that creatively. What is there to gain from that.

Jay evolved
Nas evolved

Dip Set should evolve. They still have much to offer.

That’s the problem with hip hop. It’s a lot that they can give the newer generation and vice versa. That’s y these young nikkas repeat the same cycles. Cuz the OGs either get stuck in their ways or tossed aside.

I’m tryna to hear these nikkas with ASAP, East, Griselda. I’m tryna hear them work with Metro, Flylo, Daringer.

These nikkas still got talent.

Why live in the past.

Woulda been dope if they had Ferg and Rocky on this. Beat woulda fit all 4 of them.

:hubie:

Before you old baggy pants, “don’t listen to anything but hate everything new” nikkas come in here hating.

I’m saying... it’s dope for nikkas our age. But they still can squeeze a nostalgia run out. Just got to embrace the youth.

When Metalica dropped the song "Until It Sleeps" in 96 I dont remember anyone saying "They should have put Smashing Pumpkins on this"
