In the process of selling those pounds you will make a name for yourself possibly creating more business for yourself and possibly putting a target on your back for somebody trying to rob you.

*Also there is the chance that the person buying from you or the connect is being watched by authorities and that they drop your street name and info in cooperation.

It's an extremely troublesome game and if you really understand math and probability selling drugs is one of the worst decisions you can make.

Drug prices are different everywhere. I don't understand why people have a hard time grasping this. With that said, I've never ever heard of a pound of weed for 250. That can't even get you an ounce in most places.

lmao can't believe I'm actually commenting in this thread but so much dumb shyt and misinformation has been stated that I almost feel compelled...

One, obviously there's different levels to hustlin, but it CAN be fairly easy to make decent money doing it and not really draw much attention to yourself.

Two, I can't speak on dirt weed, but anything of decent quality (not mids, I mean actual quality greens) goes for anywhere between $2,500 - $4k a pound, depending on the quality, your connect, and how many you get at one time.

So say you get a pound for $2,500. You can easily sell quarter pounds for $1,000 to four different people. That's a profit of $1,500 and you can probably do that once every few days depending on how quickly they can get rid of their product and reup. If they're selling it in little quantities, it'll take them longer, probably a week or so, but it makes sense for them because they'll probably make a profit of $1,000 off their initial $1,000 investment and double their money in a week. So in this example, everyone makes decent money but you're making at least $1,500 a week and only have to deal with 4 people total. They're making less than you are and have to deal with a bunch of customers every day just to make $1,000.

So even conservatively speaking, you can make $72,000/year selling one pound of weed a week and only having to deal with 4 people/4 transactions. That's pretty easy. I know this because I did it throughout college and law school lol

How it used to be in Dallas was there were apartments and cats would live there and sell straight from there. You go in and buy what you want and smoke there if you wanted to or take it with you. There would always be several cats up in there just smoking and hanging out. You would have your regular customers who know what time it is and if someone comes by you don't know then you just don't know what they talking about, they got the wrong house. I guess it would be equivalent to a crack house for weed. lol What I hate is that the weed game done got grimey like the dope game when it shouldn't be. It should be a more laid back chill business.

I didn't say there weren't penalties, just that cops aren't very concerned with weed dealers. Opiates (Heroin, Percocets, etc.), meth, crack, and coke are big problems, cops don't care much about weed in Philly, that doesn't mean you're not gona get locked up if they catch you with some weight. But anything under an ounce is just a citation in Philly now.

I know plenty of big time weed dealers who've been doing it for 10-15 years + who haven't even had run ins with cops. And a pound of weed in Philly isn't getting you any time unless you have a pretty significant record. If you have no record you're getting probation, a fine, and maybe some community service.

And don't tell me I'm talking out my ass you don't know me or have any clue what it's like in Philly.

You referred to weed as dope, and talked about getting a pound for $250, but please do explain how you think I'm talking out of my ass when your post makes it seem like you have no fukking clue what you're talking about..maybe you're a cop trying to find out what people on here know that would make more sense than a young dude referring to weed as dope in 2015 and claiming a pound is $250. Dope is heroin not weed, and if you think it's hard to sell drugs you have to be a fukking moron. Drugs sell themselves, as long as you have some sort of discipline and don't fukk up your re-up money, it's not hard to sell drugs at all. Like I said it's all about the connect, and then finding a solid clientele, ideally you want to find people to just flip weight to.

It all depends. Alot of these drugs crews sell everything across the board including weed. They may have heads in the crew that just focus on the weed. But, if the entire crew is under investigation for something else they selling then the people selling the weed going to go down with them if nothing else association alone.

What I'm seeing in my city is that large bust are becoming more common. 30, 40, 50 people at once are getting taken down. Most of them are low level and a good amount of them are just selling dimes of sour. So it depends where you live and the cops attitude on weed and what you are apart of. Some cops are so thirsty for arrest they will get you for a small amount of weed and hit you with anything they can like selling x amount of feet from a school and other bs laws they got on the books.

What kills me is that where I leave once you hit a certain part you are entering into open investigations. The cops watch for x amount of time, come lock up alot of people when they get enough evidence, it gets quiet for a while then a new crew comes in and the cycle continues. It got real hot a few years back and it got to the point where the whole hood was under surveillance. They had helicopters up every night, unmarked cars with cops watching everywhere, they left unmarked cars on the block with cameras in the overnight, then you had your informants, then there were under-covers (obvious lol), cameras going up everywhere etc. They had one street if you even walked down it they was arresting you. From what I've discovered the helicopters communicate with the cop cars on the ground and the car will stop and get at you. This was just more in your face when they really got fed up because it was a joint local, state and federal investigation going on at the time. But most of the same tactics are still in place just on a local and/or state level and just not done so overtly. Aint no way to win out here in the drug game, I don't care what you selling.
