Dream could've been bigger if had personality.. He had perfect timing too, R&B Game was wide open
Its his looks, that's just the sad truth

Same shyt with T-pain.....with a genre with teen girls as their main demographic you had to be a omarion or c.breezy looking ass nikka...

Voice, talent and creativity didn't get you as far as the dude with a 6 pack and girls screaming got...a damn shame.

Sadly, breh was just a lil too big and short at the wrong time

Music shouldn’t be that way and would be exponentially better if it wasn’t

Dream was more popular than Omarion at the time. O's fanbase was carried over from his B2K stint but his music was weak those first 2 albums had about 2 "hits" that were good but not great. Chris Brown rose to the top of that lane there was still room for O to eat but his management(whose very heavy handed with their acts pun intended:dame:)

Dropped the ball. RnB wasn't wide open per say but an opening was there for some acts to make a splash and carve out a long career of relevancy. Trey Songz almost did but fell off after a while because he came off as kinda one dimensional.

When "Last Time" dropped I thought he was gonna carry R&B into the new generation...then decided he wanted to be a wanna be rapper and started the trend of r&b nikkas wanting to rap

Did Wayne ever throw shots back? This was about Nivea?
I remember Wayne being interviewed in the studio around that time and "giving game " to rappers trying to eat saying he's in the studio all the time not the club. Then he's says rap is not like rnb and he doesn't really know the process of creating an rnb song but"first the ugly muhfukka who can't loose them 10 around the gut gotta write the song for you"
