People ignore that the boos were coming for Hogan before he left WWF as well. By the time he made it to WCW, he had been running Hulkamania for 10 years straight with no changes besides dropping a ton of mass and going balder. I'm not even talking about the 1992 Rumble, there were boos at other shows in 1992 for him as well and again at KOTR 1993. Dude was stale as fukk, going to WCW and just repeating his shyt but older with the same group of guys who were also older and universally fatter wasn't going to work even if the Hogan style wasn't antithetical to JCP/WCW house style.

I honestly can't believe Knobs didn't die in the ring in that run
He never had to keep Flair happy because ultimately Flair was a push over and would go along with anything and could not compare to Hogan's power plays and then not even Hall/Nash's power plays.
