^^^This is the thread I'm referencing. This is when you raised major eyebrows for me and for other people. Quite a few people called you out on the following generalization.

I've seen the evidence my myself, Black women are very suspicious of intelligent, well spoken Black men.

This was the evidence you used to say "black women" (not at qualified) like thugs or don't like intelligent well spoken men.

:sas2:

but let me go wash these dishes tho.

"girrrrl, Kirk is gay, I don't care how many children he has, I can't tell you why but he is gay"

rasheeda-and-kirk-frost1.jpg

"he don't even look like he wanted to be in this picture, that's how you can tell, can't trick me boo boo"

:sas1:

When I called you out about using some of the most RATCHET black women on tv as away to provide evidence that "black women" (a GENERALIZED TERM) don't like intelligent men, your ass tried to turn it around to say I'm being disrespectful toward black women when YOU were the one that generalized black women as if the Love and Hip Hop characters represent us all.

You're using ratchets as an example? They are ratchet and like ratchet men.

I'm using women as an example, and I think it's in poor taste and very disrespectful of you to refer to these Black women as "ratchets"

Even MarsPunka called you out. A few other people did too. Look back at the thread.

I didn't want to participate in this thread but you're also doing something white racists do. Taking what a couple of black people do (in this case black women) and attributing those traits to ALL black women.

Not all black women wants thugs or think an educated black man is gay or into white women.

Let me make a statement saying "Black men are/do (negative thing)" you don't expect me to get a neg train? But you can negatively generalize black women and it's okay. Don't even say you didn't say "all" because you definitely didn't say "some," "a few," "many" or ANY qualifying words.

Also, It was @7Revo, not you on that no hood rat left behind tip. For that part, I was incorrect. In regard to you negatively generalizing black women, I was absolutely correct.

So basically youre admitting to coming in here not to deal with the topic at hand but to derail the conversation? :ohhh:Yeah, my point still stands.

If that's the case then the thread was already derailed because I responded a post by A MAN THAT YOU ARE DAPPING UP was about natural hair and not the OP.

I didn't derail a damn thing. I responded to the conversation that most interested me in a thread. A conversation that was going on BEFORE I arrived in the thread.

In the above thread, you talked about black women liking thug/non-intelligent men (who we should be ignoring), but go to ask why should black men ignore hood rats.

The conversation is between you and Tae: Posts 92, 93, 102, 104, 105, 106
I was talking about the black women in my area.

Different areas have different type of people.

Black women in my area are on that hood glorifying shyt.

Black men should ignore women with the hood rat mentality just like black women should ignore men with the ghetto mentality.

Its for the good of our people.

@Yup and @GiGi mentioned that in their area the black men who dont like black chicks are the majority yet you dont see me faulting them for it. :yeshrug:

Kenya, darling, YOU disrespected Black women by calling them ratchet, you'll disagree that you were being disrespectful because you can supposedly "prove" they are ratchet.

yes, Mars "called me out", accusing me of attributing the behaviors of SOME Black women to ALL Black women, something I didn't do, which is why I replied.

I never said ALL black women.

stop it Mars.

She replied

I'm just letting you know how it could be read and how someone might interpret it.

Yes Mars, I conceed that I might have been misinterpreted but it's worth noting that the ones doing the misinterpretation of my statements are guilty of the exact thing "all/not all" crime I'm being accused of.

Sweet Kenya has no problem condemning, with 'proof', the women of Love and Hip Hop, women she's never met or experienced in a non entertainment setting.

Kenya, you don't know those women.

judging them by what they do on entertainment television is foolish, did you watch The Wiz and think Michael Jackson was actually a lion?

Kenya...

:usure:

stop it my sister.

<3

We shouldn't be arguing because you've casted entire groups of people into the proverbial bushes because they're supposedly ratchet, whatever that means.

You are my sister, lets not tear our other sisters down because of their ratchetness.

I didn't throw anyone in the bushes. I specifically said DON'T generalize all black women based on THOSE black women, which was your intention (with those smug smilies). What was the post of posting if that wasn't your intention?

If you didn't mean all black women then why didn't you qualify your first post? Because your behind meant "black women" not some.

I qualify the statements I make against groups of people. YOU did not.

I meant some Black women Kenya, those Black women being actual Black women I've encountered in real life, women that weren't tap dancing for VH1 cameras.

I've made it clear in the other thread that I wasn't referring to all Black women, and I'll say it again here, I was NOT referring to ALL Black women.

I used LHH as an example because I've observed comments made by Black women (not all  ) in my presence while watching this show and I jokingly posted some of the examples, this wasn't done to somehow indict ALL Black women, cherry pie.

If that is what you say you meant then I have no other choice but to believe you.

I just hope you don't become like some of the people who always have something negative to say about certain segment of the black population.

You called a certain segment of the population ratchet, I'm still not 100% sure of what "ratchet" means, but I've never heard it used as a term of endearment.

I just want us to progress, even if it's by having you constantly take me to task, calling me out for perceived slights against groups of people I'm learning to love and understand, cupcake.
