Wasn't moved, at all... for one, the notion that diversity somehow singularly defined Hilary's campaign or liberal politics in general is fallacious and bordering on ridiculous... the extent to which national election politics is dominated by "diversity" is acknowledging minorities exist and not being outwardly antagonistic towards them

So the take away from this election, one where the democratic candidate won the popular vote by a couple of million, is to ignore diversity at all costs because it makes racist white people uncomfortable...

He's a corporate magnate who makes money off media. What does he have to do with Liberals in general? He's not a commentator or even openly political. The media hasn't created a recent racism push at all it's just the unarmed black people being killed and the video coming out has been newsworthy.

The post identity liberalism he is talking about is the old definition of American Liberalism which is actually closer to libertarian-ism..it still exists but NOT in the narrow confines of identity politics...Logically if you use state power to identify and treat a certain segment of the population differently then you by necessity MUST deny or restrict the other groups and since they will feel some kind of way about it their resentment must be ignored or disregarded or made unpopular

racism from white liberalism is not something that you can read about in a magazine or in a poll, but modern white liberals carry on the tradition of lincoln, whom wanted to free the slaves but never wanted the black man and white man to be equal

liberals may take political positions that may be more palatable to black people, that doesnt mean that they are your buddy, the most recent example of white liberal racism came during the 2008 democratic primaries and how a lot of liberals could not swallow or comprehend a black man leading the democratic party
