Premise of the thread is Real Estate agents aren't needed because of Automation

So paying for an expensive automated service to look at updated accurate housing prices is an advantage for a Consumer? Interesting :ehh:

again, pure conjecture on your part. You have no idea what the costs would be under this paradigm.

Another major reason why the “end of realtors” won’t happen at the hands of Zillow is because that would drastically impact Zillow’s platform.

Zillow isn’t a listing service. 99% of the homes you see on Zillow are pulled directly from the various MLS databases around the country (Multiple Listing Service).

Realtors input their listings in the MLS. So essentially without realtors there would be no MLS. And with no MLS there would be a significantly impacted Zillow.

Its $1000 to $1500 a year for a Real Estate agent to be on the MLS. That's not conjecture, thats a fact
If you think a consumer who is unlicensed with no state authorized background check to have access to private records... won't have to pay more for it, you are living in a fantasy

Who cares what it is for a real estate agent, that’s not what is being proposed here. Again you have absolutely no idea what their go to market strategy is, so just stop.

Surprised Amazon hasn't gotten into the home buying/selling business and put an end to the rest of the market
