Falcon and Winter Soldier was lowkey my favorite. They actually went into racial topics surprisingly well, which i wasn't expecting. I like when superheroes movies/shows, tackle real world issues instead of being 100% fantasy. X-men was really popular to me for this reason.
Plus i also see the superhero films genre as a fusion between the sci fi/fantasy genre and the martial arts genres. Yes i like seeing superpowers on display but ultimately hand to hand combat is the most satisfying type of combat in these films. I 'd rather see spiderman, cap, batman or daredevil going toe to toe with people in bare knuckle brawl over people making hand gestures and gesticulating at each other with different color light effects.

Bring low tier comics into theaters bruh.
Growing up, when I collected comic books, no one was saying "let me get that new eternals". Nobody cares about them.
12 years was a long enough thanos arc. Iron man i understood as RDJ was not only getting old, but was cost prohibitive at that point too. Chris Evans though i agree, they could've kept him around for a bit longer. But maybe they might bring him back since they didn't actually kill him off. Those time machine experiments they did in end game show that you can de-age some people like they did when antman turned into a baby.They ended the Thanos arc too early...IM, Cap, got at least 1 or 2 more left in them...
if you saw the movie...you'd know they are connected to a larger story.2 not connected to a larger storyline

Scorcese act like people don't enjoy the fukk out of amusment parks though.nikkas actually dissecting these marvel movies like the scripts aren’t made in a boardroom by a marketing and PR department
these are all MINDLESS amusement park rides as Scorcese said
yeah it definately was...it's no coincidence that they were marvel's first two movies starting from the 2000s. In the 90s everything was X Men or X Men connected (X Force, X Factor etc)...and Spiderman had about 5 books circulating...I just remember seeing stuff like the Eternals and the Inhuman books from the 70s and 80s as obsolete story arcs...i think Marvel was supposedly going bankrupt around this time which is why they began to lease a lot of the characters off just to stay a float...supposedly the movies are what saved them
Facts. Fantastic Four had the juice until the X-men blew up in the 80s and 90s. Spider-man was always that dude, and the Hulk is an icon.
Casuals were mostlytowards the rest of those characters when we were growing up. (Daredevil goes hard though
)
Right now it’s looking like the problem with Eternals is that it doesn’t feel like it’s doing much to build up to some really live stories or events.
We can admit it—Most of Phase 1 (besides Iron man 1) was mid until the Avengers 1 crushed the buildings. But we were still invested because we knew they were building up some live ish.
They’ve gotta quit playing and start dropping towards hints towards X-men/Fantastic Four/Doom/Galactus if they want to keep the audience’s interest.
It was cool to focus on the B and C list when that was all they had, but now that they have the rights back we need to see some real characters.
Most of all, they need a clear direction. Where are they trying to go with all this?

This is the entertainment industry. You are literally doing this for our amusement. I hate when people get so high on themselves and try to act like they doing something of greater value than something else just because they say so.
He like a 5 star chef, complaining that people prefer the burger place across the street. Your job is make food that people like, not lecture them that your food is better because you followed some classical literature to make it more authentic to the historical significance of the region or some other bullshyt. thats not how this shyt works. you can be your favorite rappers favorite rapper of the film industry all you want, but ultimately the success will go to the more popular entertainment act.
