This just means landlords can file for eviction, they still got 90 days to get out
I mean if you was living rent free for an entire year and getting unemployed you should be stacked up something serious right now
Why do people still need this?

It’s driving rental prices through the roof though. People can’t stay rent free forever
I’m trying to find me a new place without paying $500 extra a month![]()
The funds are there to save evictions, but the system and resources aren't in place to properly disperse it. They should have simplified the process months ago.
Congress scrambles to extend eviction moratorium expiring Saturday
Congress has had well over a year to come up with a long term solution to the problem, yet are now trying to deflect blame and point fingers for their failures. If Biden said last month that he wasn't going to extend the moratorium, then why not try to come up with a solution?

And this right here is the bullshyt in all of it. I feel sorry for the landlords. 100% of these evictions were completely preventable wether the person applied for assistance or moved out until they could rent again or made payment arrangements with their landlord.
Oh those poor landlords, think of the landlords! How ever will they continue!!??because there is widespread unemployment due to a global pandemic which is now entering into another phase![]()
The number of available jobs on the last day of May rose slightly to 9.21 million, from 9.19 million in April, the Labor Department said Wednesday. That is the highest since records began in December 2000.
And the percentage of workers getting laid off hit a record low in May, the report said.
The figures point to a tight job market, with employers forced to pay more to attract workers yet still struggling to fill open jobs. And many workers are leaving jobs for better-paying positions at other companies.
