Amazing…we treat corporations like people, and people like corporations here in America…

And clearly we cool with it, because we don’t fight back and keep electing those in “power” back in these positions…as long as we got our social media, vacations, designer clothes and cars, guns and freedom we good…

If the lower and middle class banded together, there’d be hell to pay…but they keep us divided and looking down on each other for a reason

shameful

Those ppl that aint pay rent in months tryna "take a stand" by not takin' jobs because you feel you deserve more than what the job was offering are lookin' kinda foolish right now. You dont play games like that when it comes to a roof over your head.

To those that really couldnt find work, I feel sorry for them.

I got an old classmate who still waitin on the government to step up. 8 months behind on rent. Turned down THREE factory jobs the past 6 months(CAT, ADM, Tate & Lyle), because he still had a lil unemployment and stimulus cash. Now them jobs are filled. UE found out he turned down work and stopped his benefits

Landlords, tenants fill courts as eviction moratorium ends

A landlord must hate their tenant that bad and want them out if they were willing to turn down $5,000 in rental assistance :patrice:

Unless they want them out so they can renovate the property and rent it a higher price :ld:

these people are behind a whole year of rent, what is 5,000 to them, and why would you want to fukk with somebody who ain't paid rent for year if you were a landlord, they been fukking up your whole situation the entire time

Like I said people got lazy and didn't want to get to work, I understand that, and rent is also way too high across the board so even if they get a bullshyt job it still isn't enough to pay rent

living in vans and shyt is becoming normal and shyt lmao

Feel sad for the elderly

but if u in your 20s and 30s and u didn’t go out and get a job regardless if it’s warehouse or chic fil a , it’s on u

I was watching the news and this young chick with 3 daughters loss her casino job in Vegas last year do to the pandemic and right now facing eviction because she owes 1,900 in back rent and had to sell everything

but I’m like u could get on welfare and most important why u just didn’t get a job and pay a little rent at a time
I hate when people talk like this. You're generalizing the entire situation and have no 1st hand experience of being in this situation. In some cities and states you cant get assistance for housing that fast. In Austin you're on a waiting list for years for public housing or section 8. They'll give a 16 year old pregnant girl an apartment right away but all the other women have to wait years :francis:

The government keeps griping at states to allocate the rent money faster without realizing why the rollout has been slow based on their part in the first place :mjlol:

Just where exactly are these cities and states supposed to get the resources and staff from to process these applications? Why not ask them what they need to speed up the process?

Im confused about the bold part. Wasn't there federal funding for landlords? Why would the landlords care about where the money is coming from as long as they get paid?

The money has to get to the landlord and the rollout has been slow because of lack of resources and understaff to handle the demand. It's only so long the landlord can wait on those funds until they have no other choice to evict the tenant.

Honestly, the entire process is and has been a losing battle as millions of people have and are going to end up homeless anyways as not every state and local government has been abiding by the freeze on evictions nor will continue to do so.

Still don't see the bigger picture?

The USD is worth 0.

The Petro dollar which the entire world used for oil is on the brink of extinction

Only reason the fiat $ had any value .

World is moving on USA is being left behind

I'm curious as to what is Congress actual plan going forward? They can't gripe at the September asking for more time to resolve these situations when it's now become public that they are on vacation until the middle of next month.

Especially when The Feds have now covered for them and the CDC is putting their future power at play by helping them out as well. Even Yellen basically told them to griping amongst each other and figure it out lol.
