She isn't entitled to dress in a "black" style if that she's not what she wants to do. She's older and more mature so maybe this new look is her way of expressing it.

I think that's fair to say but some posters are acting like she's changed her appearance with malice in mind, and I just don't see the justification for such. Glancing at her old pictures, it's noteworthy to say her facial structured hasn't changed. In fact the only differences are her hair, dress and photo lighting. Nevertheless it is interesting the extent to which these seemingly insignificant factors can affect Alicia Key's perception in some people.

I brought it up because your post implied that she "looks whiter" as though whiteness was alien to her in the first place and that she did some witch craft to appear as she does today. She is half white, whatever you say otherwise. That's why she looks the way she does with a different hair cut and lighter makeup. It's not like you're saying different makes her any less a mulatto or changes any of what I've said till this point.
