Indeed you did. :heh:

But no lie, I am really starting to come around to your thinking. IDK man, but your mos def on to something. :ehh:
To think that most tier 1 $$ qb's don't perform to their value? That's not crazy thinking breh.

What's crazy is that the 'system' that's overwhelming Matt Ryan is one that Bob Griff swag surfed on when he was a rookie :heh:

It's actually quite simple why Matt Ryan is struggling this year. It's clear under Kyle Shanahan, just like his dad in a lot of ways, his offense is built on a strong running game more than running the same play from different formations and heavy audible calling like the old offense was. Either way he shouldn't be struggling the way he is and unfortunately, I doubt the Falcons are going to move on from him even if he is the worst QB in the division. Just because I don't see them getting a guy like Kaep or RG3.

:stopitslime:Here's a play to consider: Throw the fukking ball to Julio Jones. He's the most talented receiver in football and he's only caught 2 touchdowns in the last 8 weeks.
NFL Football Player Stats & Stats Leaders - Pass Targets

Top 5 Receivers for targets:

1 Julio Jones Atlanta Falcons WR 152
1 DeAndre Hopkins Houston Texans WR 152
3 Odell Beckham New York Giants WR 133
4 Brandon Marshall New York Jets WR 130
4 Demaryius Thomas Denver Broncos WR 130
6 Antonio Brown Pittsburgh Steelers WR 126

Throwing the ball his way is clearly not the issue.

I remember half the fan base (redneck cacs) wanted Vick gone way before the dog scandal. Matty Slush gets chance after chance and excuse after excuse.

Thats what it boils down to. They want to believe in the Golden boy qb SOOOO bad. I had a white season ticket coworker who told me he used to hate coming to the dome when Vick was around because he "brought out the hood" :mjpls: I had to check him of course. But Matt is literally the antithesis of everything Vick was. Pocket passer, squeeky clean, said all the right things, made all of the reads and ironically he was supposed to be some sort of genius big brained Peyton Manning clone. But the Peyton Manning clone at 30 cant seem to master the same zone blocking scheme/West Coast hybrid that "thug" Vick thrived in.

Team is trash, QB is trash, and the organization is trash for giving him that contract. Go ahead and bring up the statistics....dude couldn't even complete a pass beyond 10 yds yesterday. Check down and dump off king :mjlol: still haven't won a division game :umad:

this isnt a surprise....he looks the part, so they gonna use every excuse to justify why he isnt performing on an elite level besides stating the obvious answer: he's just not an elite level qb....do i think you can win games with him? yes, but you cant make him the focal point...also, he needs a good te.....

Vick had his detractors because he was an inconsistent passer. If you're talking about the :mjpls: factor then that was in place as soon as he stepped foot in Flowery Branch.

Breh let's not play dumb. I was a HUGE Vick fan but his actions nearly destroyed the Falcons as a franchise because he wasn't man enough to tell Blank what was really going on. He didn't care enough about being a QB to even commit to being a better player in the film room or dedicating himself to being the best he could (Vick has publicly acknowledged this). Do you remember how mediocre Vick was his last season here? How he flipped the bird to fans at the Dome? You and a lot of other Falcons fans do this revisionist bullshyt on Mike and just make it about race. Outside of the past several games Matt has done a really good job as a franchise QB here and came out the gate and got us to the playoffs his first 3 seasons. Vick never even led us to back to back winning seasons

:francis: Sorry, but your analysis is poor and clearly indicates that you do not watch the games. These raw target numbers simply fail to account for game flow and play-calling tendencies.

There will be 4 consecutive drives in which Julio is not targeted seemingly every game. He is taken off the field on 1st (and sometimes 2nd) down, even during pass plays, at an alarming rate. Many of these targets are horrific force-attempts by Matt Ryan into double coverage that have little to no chance of being caught and serve only to inflate this (largely useless) statistic.:scust:

Julio Jones has an 85.1% offensive snap percentage, which is good for 17th among WRs, and unforgivably low by any metric... his snap percentage is lower than offensive stalwarts such as Rueben Randle, James Jones, Allen Hurns, and Golden Tate. :mindblown:

Please explain how having your best receiving threat by a country mile sit out 15 out of every 100 plays is beneficial to your team's success. :jbhmm:
