Who can "read a defense" besides the elite QB's? This whole "read a defense" shyt is some new age talk that I never heard about up until recently. To me it's just lazy talk.
New age talk:francis:

That's the difference in a qb putting the work in and learning in that film room.

You really don't know who is putting in the time, though, that's why I reject that talk. And putting in the time doesn't mean shyt. Some people are quicker learners than others, some will take forever in the classroom and still not learn shyt.

And our D gave up 20+ points in all of the playoff games that year. Our D was good that year, it was GREAT the year before.
Disappointing if anything

Defense and special teams costing us the trophy

Bruh you can watch these quarterbacks and tell who is learning and getting better. Then I can here mat stafford say he don't need a qb coach and don't need extra offseason work and see him not getting better on the field.

Stafford has 9 TDs and 1INT in his last 4 games. Did he spend time in the film room? Why has he played better? Again, I think the whole film room and reading defenses thing is hogwash. It's too convenient. Dude have a good few games, he can read defenses, he loses a few games, he can't read defenses. I'm not saying whether he can or can't. Just think "can't read a defense" to be lazy talk.

Why did Derek Carr struggle last week against the Chiefs? Not enough film study or he couldn't read a defense that week?

It was all good when they were beating up on weak ass teams and a gutted Cowboys squad :mjlol:

Still haven't won a division game :mjlol:

Probably won't win one all season :mjlol:

Can someone make the off-season thread for them already? :pauly: :breesus:
Funny thing outside of the Texans games they weren't really beating anyone up. Same old inconvincing failcons under marty

Still better than Eli right?:sas1:

Eli didn't look good against the Jets. His TD pass to OBJ was wide open and he otherwise did nothing to convince me he's better than Ryan.

He simply can't read defenses. The game is too fast for him. He should consider a career in the CFL.

I have noticed if the media likes the quarterback the interceptions are the wide receivers fault. The wide receiver should have come back and fight for the ball or knock it to the ground. If the receiver is nowhere near the interception he must have run the wrong route.:smh:
