It’s odd people even mentioned the two in the same breath because they have nothing in common besides space. This game is more in line with Mass effect, Exodus than it does with Starfield.

Probably because of the way the space ships look. The expanse and star field ships look like a realistic take on what space ship would look like in the near future.

No space combat/exploration hurts considering they're adhering to book/show's "hard science" of shuttle movement and acceleration.

I'm currently on book 7 of The Expanse(Persepolis Rising). This will definitely be on my watch list as I'm a big fan of the series.

Yeah looking like a must cop.
I haven't played many space games at all. Didn't touch Mass Effect. And Starfield wasn't it for me.
This has a lot of potential.

Great books. The final trio are a wild ride, I can see why they didn't/couldn't make them into TV series. Big shame because we never got to see Tanaka portrayed on screen, she was a wild-ass character.
