They just put up a spot called the veggie grill (not sure if it is black owned but everyone working there looks black) by me, and another near where I went to college (I think it's called the lunchbox, and seems like it is Haitian owned) . There was a juice spot by my job but it didn't even make it past 3 months.

I’ve been plant based off and on for over ten years, I was one of the only non Rastafarian or foreign born negroes in my circle to do so. I wish a famous/popular black person who is plant based in their diet (not an all around vegan) would speak out more about the nutritional benefits.

I don’t believe in animal cruelty but I won’t align myself with the vegans, they see animals as being higher than people of color. The same white people who cried over Cecil the Lion’s death on TV were mum about innocent black people being killed by the police.
