If you're working a full-time job, you should be making enough money to feed your family.
Doesn't matter if you're working for JP Morgan or PF Changs.
These fraud ass conservatives that talk that "Support Our Troops" bullshyt have all the money in the world for more guns, more tanks, more aircrafts, but a living wage for the people they send overseas to get maimed and murdered is somehow out of the question.
George Carlin was right.
All these people want when they talk about sanctity of life is they want live babies so they can grow up to be dead soldiers. Or deadbeat soldiers, it looks like.
I realize I went off on a bit of a tangent but it's all connected as part of a larger point.

The problem is, lack of worker unions left in America. People bought in the corporatism crap that lack of regulation will benefit the worker.
All wages need to get higher and CEOs who use those profits for their own check, at the expense of the workers' well being, need to stop being so fukking greedy.

It's gonna cause people in the trucking industry to demand higher wages. Why should someone make equal or more than some people who earned a certification? Expecially one that's heavily regulated.

Will someone please define what how much money you need to make to make ends meet? If you work at the McDonald's in the poor side of town will you make less than working at the McDonald's at the expensive side of town? Everyone has to make more to make ends meet that's why we budget or go to school to make more money
Does giving a $15 minimum wage automatically mean that everybody else who has skills and education in other advanced areas gets more money? Because there are people with a masters level Ed Who work in their field and get less than $15 an hour
