I liken this to Microsoft doing the Xbox One downloadable games only announcement. There was no good way to go about delivering such news.

this was the microsoft E3 announcement. 
They're also being purposely vague on what their exact format is for their videos so it can't be used against them.
This is on Youtube as well for adhering to all their DMCA request, taking down a bunch of other people's videos.

I don't like reaction videos but after seeing their initial announcement, it seemed pretty clear to me they were only talking about licensing their brand internationally and not declaring war on all other react videos. I don't see why so many people are freaking out.
That said, their format isn't original and they seem to think what they do is much more important than it really is.
