First rap recording. It was taken from African slaves but the first recording was by a white man.

This might be true - but it had literally 0 impact on the rap we talk about these days

....
Rap is speaking / chanting rhythmically on a beat. These early white musicians are not on beat nor are they using rhythm. He has no idea ... :camby:This English white boy is pontificating on rap ... really :mindblown:. Be careful of whose history you believe.

Cacs been rhyming over symphonies since forever, even before 1931. But is it rap if there ain't no drums tho'? :mjpls:

Drums are African, and best believe Africans have been talking (and probably rhyming) over drum-beats for a while now.
As for the first recording, cacs got that W thanks to slavery making their economies stable enough for them to advance techonologically. :mocksalute:
