The Flash was announced all the way back in October of 2014, but it’s been through a lot of changes since then. Multiple directors have come and gone, and then last year at Comic-Con Warner Bros. announced that the movie would be Flashpoint. If it was anything like the comic with the same name, it would have included many Justice Leaguecharacters as well. But after that movie bombed last year, it seems like Warner Bros. isn’t in a rush to make a big team up movie again.

Last month The Hollywood Reporter hinted that Flashpoint was going in a different direction, and over the last couple of weeks The Wrap reporter Umberto Gonzalez has tweeted emojis in response to the movie, strongly hinting that it was dead.

Now that I think about it, shouldn't Barry in the DCEU be blond. It would majorly help to distinguish the differences between Flashes.

Great decision, it makes no sense to blow your wad on the first try. Flashpoint is the best modern Flash story line and, if done right, with Thomas Wayne batman and Wonder Woman and Aquaman could be a top 5 comic book film.

Keep it simple nothing wrong with that. What villain to use is the question Reverse Flash aka Professor Zoom is logical but, no reason he can't be hinted at while instead uses some of the rogues. Mirror Master could be first and use him to introduce Cap Cold and Heatwave in a sequel if they do that. Introduce Zoom in the 2nd film officially and have him be the main in the 3rd

Spider-man started off with Green Goblin and the series was fine until Sony told Raimi to add more villains. So I don't think starting off with a strong villain is a bad thing. They could do a rogues film in the second film and a gorilla city to close out the third film. Any villain can be great on paper, it comes down to the screenwriter.

Or Grodd for the second but, you can't ignore RF he is the literal reason why Barry becomes a csi guy you have to include him in this franchise.
