the 2024 Barry was the original RFs speedforce supplier... Once that altered, he killed Nora and 2024 original Barry vanished from the timeline .. it left RF stuck.. Eobard Thawne is the RF that exists outside of time so that why he remained and didnt vanish like Barry.. He then needed Barry to be the Flash ASAP so he can steal the speedforce and return home..
And the negative speedforce will not exist for RF to siphon if Barrydoesnt become the flash and generate the positive speedforce

I was thinking the same thing. That would've been a great ep to use for a break. The one they used for the break last year had us on edge, anticipating what will come next, so it made the wait seem extra long.

I don't think the episode AS A WHOLE was that amazing though. I've seen better episodes start to finish. It was just a GODLY last 10-15 minutes that made it a classic. I would prefer a consistent 8.5 episode for a mid-season finale than a 7 for 45 and a 10 for 15. Those are better during the season to me :ld:

Nope, a good mid season break will be the Zoom reveal just like last season with RF.
