Started slow, better with each episode. Main villain (Thinker) so far has been the star of the show, really well written.

I didn't get it at the time, but I think you figured it out.
The whole "Ten Steps Ahead" thing assumes that the person you are plotting against behaves rationally. But if you're not smart enough to outthink the other guy rationally, the way to prevent them from predicting your move would be to behave IRRATIONALLY.

DeVoe expected Barry to run, because The Flash is ALL ABOUT running. He wouldn't spend much thought on the 1% probability that Barry would just stand there and get caught. But here's the thing:
By standing still Barry didn't reveal that he's a metahuman. That means that he'll be put in a *regular* jail and can zip in an out at any time. Like Pablo Escobar with the escape tunnels.

Nah, Thinker is cool but nothing so far tops that beatdown from Zoom.
