He also did 'The Day Today' with Armando Ianucci who does Veep and Steve Coogan from Alan Partridge.

It would definitely be tougher for a Brass Eye these days, although some of the current crop of celebrities probably have never heard of it. At the very least I think he could get some bullshyt going on Twitter. He was pretty funny interviewing Stewart Lee on his last series, dude is just too quick. I have all the Blue Jam radio shows downloaded, have to get to those sometime soon, need to rewatch Jam/Brass Eye too.
I like Veep but Thick of It is another level to me, Malcolm is an incredible character. He was a total c*nt all through the show but they still had me feeling bad for him at the end
