I hate that shyt, too. It's so irrational that it can ONLY be based in prejudice. I was there the night they retired his jersey, and not only were people not showing him love, they were fukkin BOOING. He was like:

CACs (and even some Black folk I know) will seemingly NEVER forgive him for choking away the Super Bowl....NEVERMIND that for YEARS PRIOR he had been a catalyst for the team's constant yearly success. Didn't even have to be that good...just competent receivers and competent coaching. The Eagles really didn't value WR and it seems like they really couldn't identify talent at the position until recently. They drafted Freddy Mitchell over Chad, Steve Smith, and Reggie Wayne .
